What we're doing
At Doomsday Games our customer and staff safety is our top priority and that's why we have made a few changes to how we operate:
-
Some props and items have been modified in order to allow for our more stringent cleaning measures. Whilst we've tried our best to keep the high level of immersion we are used to providing, unfortunately we have been forced to make some minor changes which may detract from the immersion of Pathogen,
-
All staff and games masters will be provided with full PPE for your briefing, debriefing and post-booking cleaning
-
70% alcohol hand gel will be available in every area of our facility
-
Staff will be implementing social distancing with respect to customers
-
Longer breaks between bookings have been implemented to allow for rigorous cleaning of our facility
What we need you to do
We have established the following rules and required procedures for all customers who attend Doomsday Games:
-
Based on current government guidelines, participants must conform to the rule of 6
-
Participants must social distance from others from different households (1m+ as face coverings are required)
-
Face coverings must be worn at all times whilst guests are on our premises.
-
All participants must complete a waiver before their booking. If participants have not completed a waiver, they will have to complete it before briefing and additional time will not be allocated for this. Our e-waiver system can be found here: https://doomsdaygamescolchester.resova.eu/sign_waiver
-
Customers will not be permitted to take any items into the experience except for a bottle of water if required. All personal items must be left in your vehicle and keys can be left in our storage lockers.
-
Customers will be asked to wait in their vehicle until they receive a text message asking them to travel upstairs into our reception are (this is to avoid any cross-over of customers and to allow our staff time to clean our facility)
-
Customers must wash their hands thoroughly for at least 20 seconds in our hand wash stations before entering and leaving our facility
-
Customers must wash their hands after using the toilet facilities and after coughing or sneezing (customers will be allowed to leave the game in order to wash their hands and return, however extra time will not be provided)
-
Customers should avoid touching their eyes, nose and mouth
-
Customers should avoid all personal contact with other participants whilst in the experience
-
Customers must cover their mouth and nose with a tissue or their arm when they cough or sneeze, and then place the used tissue in the bin immediately and wash their hands
