What is Doomsday Games?Doomsday Games is an entirely immersive live-action escape game experience, where you can have a chance at saving the world. Escape rooms are fun, exciting and challenging activities for 2-6 players. The aim of the game is to save the world for your choice of doomsday scenario within 60-90 minutes. Test your common sense, logic and friendship as the clock ticks down, will you survive the apocalypse?

What are your opening hours?Monday - Thursday 12pm - 9.30pm Friday - Sunday 10am - 10pm

Do I need to book in advance?Yes! booking online or by giving us a call in advance is necessary! For weekday bookings (Monday to Thursday) we require 24 hours notice, or please call us. For weekend bookings (Friday to Sunday) we require 1 hour's notice.

Can I buy Gift Vouchers?Yes, simply go to our booking page where we have a variety of gift vouchers in various denominations.

Will it be just my group or will we be with other people?This is your experience so if you book a room, no matter the number it will be just your group.

What is the minimum/maximum team size for each scenario?Minimum is 2 players, maximum is 6 players.

Who can do an Escape Room?Aside from the fact that we are on the first floor and are sadly NOT wheelchair accessible, Almost anyone, from any walk of life can participate in our escape experience, it's a great activity for friends, family and work colleagues; escape games are also a great corporate team building activity or just an excuse to go out and make memories...

Is it scary?Doomsday Games, not to be confused with a scare park of a similar name, is NOT a scare attraction. There are no live actors, jump scares or frightening parts to our games. Just a few riddles, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma....

What should I wear?Dress for the apocalypse... which means no high heels or anything that restricts your movement. You may need to crawl on your knees or walk on uneven surfaces And don't forget your glasses so you can read all of our puzzles and in-game information.

Are there any live actors? or will anything jump out on me?Absolutely 100% no! We do not use any live actors in our escape experiences and we don't want them to feel frightening in any way. The escpae game ethos for us, is fun, not scary!

How long does the game last?Our first Scenario "Pathogen" is designed to last 90 minutes, although there will of course be variations on the time it takes different groups to complete the game.

What if I'm late?We will endeavour to ensure that you get to finish the full game experience, however there is a maximum allocated time of 1 hour and 40 minutes, at which point the game will be ended to prevent delays with other bookings. Therefore it is important that you don't arrive late for your booking slot. Please aim to arrive at least 15 minutes before your booking slot, so that you get to enjoy the full scenario.

Can kids play?Children under 10 may find the puzzles a bit too challenging, so we have set a lower age limit of 10, however please give us a call before booking to discuss your group and suitability. All participants under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult.

Can we bring drinks with us?You are very welcome to bring drinks along with you, however they must be left in the briefing room and cannot be taken into the game itself. If you need to access the drinks during the game, you can go back to the briefing room at any time.

Is Doomsday Games wheelchair accessible?Unfortunately we are not wheelchair accesible as we are located on the 1st floor or our building and access requires you to go up stairs. However give us a call to discuss your group and we may be able to help!

What is a virtual escape room?In an online escape room, an avatar is a real person inside the actual, physical escape room, connected by video and audio technology. They act as the players' eyes, ears, hands, and feet as they play through the game in real time
